Wisdom Teeth Removals
We do pull wisdom teeth in our dental office; we do it for all ages. With our CT machine we’re able to go ahead and image the jaw and find out the angle of the wisdom tooth if it’s impacted. We generally do it under oral conscious sedation which is a way of taking a pill before you come in the office which makes the procedure a lot more relaxing for you. In some instances we actually put you all the way to sleep for the wisdom tooth removal, that way you don’t have any memory of the procedure and it goes a lot smoother, a lot easier.
We’re usually able to do all types of impactions, whether or not the tooth is buried deep in the bone or if it’s just sitting up above. There are some instances where we will refer for wisdom teeth removal but they are very few and far between.
